ARTS & CULTURE
Kabara provides a development platform for young talented northerners and women to engage in the cultural and creative industries akin to the region. The 'Kabara Kreatives' community offers a safe space around both Visual and Performance art expression.
Our centre in Kano has a gallery space to encourage local cultural entrepreneurship in the visual arts; paintings, pottery, photography to name a few. We look to develop and support creativity around digital and Islamic art.
Through our partnerships with Northern Nigeria creative houses, we are engaged in projects focused on showcasing our heritage within the performance art sector. With several developments under our 'Arewa Art Renaissance' projects, we will herald performances in theatre, literature, dance and others ensuring representation of northerners across all aspects of the productions.
